Too many vaccinated people think partying is the way forward now. Speaking as someone from the UK wanting to visit family in Australia, I just wish everyone who can, would get vaccinated as then life will regain some normality. No, it won’t make Covid go away but at least we’ll all be more protected from serious illness or death! Here in the UK we are getting back to ‘normal’ although there are still cases and people in hospital of which a high percentage are non vaccinated and will suffer in the long run, some with Long Covid and be unable to work etc. We accepted vaccinations against smallpox, polio, yellow fever etc. So why protest now when we have a deadly disease which can be slowed down if not eradicated eventually! when you have a consent form in a form of waiver to sign, i bet your reaction would b different! Second if you had seen your own getting paralyzed after vaccine, n another undergoing breast surgery after 2nd dose u will definitely change your mind! Now don’t tell me the percentage of people dying from vaccine is less compared to covid! Even if it is 1,n if that person is you would u say same? what does it matter to you if others are protected or not. They’ve confirmed it doesn’t change transmission or even viral load.
